December Daily - December 26

This is the December 26 assignment from the Holidays in Hand class I took from Jessica Sprague.

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen. ~Attributed to a 7-year-old named Bobby

How long do you keep your holiday decorations up?  I start undecorating as soon as I possibly can - usually on Christmas night. However, I was so tired this year, I didn't start decorating until today.  I haven't started on the tree yet - I'll start on it tomorrow after church.

Photograph what you're up to on the day after Christmas.  I went shopping early this morning - bought a new tree for next year (7.5' prelit - decided against the 9' tree so maybe we won't have to totally rearrange our family room to put up the tree).  We also pooled some of our Christmas money and bought a Wii.  I ironed while Brad and the kids played.  I played for a bit and then had to get ready for Lions' Night Out.  I didn't take a photo of shopping, I didn't get a photo of us/me wii'ing - so you get a photo of me at LNO with my dear friend, Kim.  I've known Kim since we were in elementary school.  Always have a great time with her.

Remember:  Did you have any decoration take-down traditions as a child?  People have decoration take-down traditions?  I didn't.  Don't have any now beyond "get it down and out of my way!"  :)
