So, we bake the first batch of cookies (which was like trying to herd cats with water - Vicki can testify as I was on the phone with her while we were trying to roll them into balls) and we burned them. I seriously hate my oven, the thermostat is off by about 75 degrees, which is a lot if you ask me. Turn the heat down 50 degrees and try again...much better! The cookies were delicious, though Nin has decided that she doesn't like snickerdoodles. I couldn't believe it. She loves cinnamon toast for breakfast so I thought for sure she'd be all over these cookies. She told me that she would rather have "my" cookies (the lactation boosting cookies). I'd just baked a batch of those, so we traded. She had the lactation cookies and I had snickerdoodles.
It is "quiet time" in my house. Annie is asleep on the family room floor, the big girls are in their room watching cartoons, Harrison is asleep on me. I'm about to see if I can put him into his bed so I can get some housework done. Typically he wakes up within 10 minutes of me laying him down - and he screams until someone picks him up. Not fun at all when I'm trying to get stuff done!
