One year ago today, I was laying on the operating table listening to the LOUDEST SCREAMS I've ever heard from a baby! Everyone on the other side of the drape was laughing, "Good grief! She's not even fully delivered and she's screaming like this! I've never heard a c-section baby cry this loud. What a wonderful sound." And my OB dryly says, "Acts just like her mother." Mmmmm, love you, too, Paul.
And now, I have the quietest little thing (well, she's finally started making her voice heard over the din of her sisters). She loves to giggle. She loves to play with her sisters. She absolutely adores her daddy. She loves her thumb and her white blankie. And, lucky us, she loves to snuggle. She's starting to stand alone, which thrills Elizabeth - I can hardly wait to see how E reacts when Annie starts walking!
I am so very thankful to have this little love!
