I love sales

I went on a wee bit of a digital scrapbooking spending spree today at Scrapbook-Bytes. Ashley Olson was having a "dollar sale" so I picked up a couple of her paper packs: Come What May and Fit for a Princess. I also grabbed Dana Zarling's Antique Wallpaper Paper Pack and...the whole reason I went to SBB's store in the first place: Correen Silke's Just for a Smile paper set and element set. I can't wait to use them! Lots of pink and green, purple and cream. Colors I love to scrap with. I realized today, I don't scrap with orange at all - except for Halloween and maybe some fall photos but even then I prefer a rustier, terra-cottaish color over *orange*. Don't use yellow much either. Or red.

Elizabeth and I went to Home Depot today. We bought a new screen door, paint and hardware for it. Hopefully Brad will be able to put it up one night next week. I know today is out since he just left for a basketball game. The game is supposed to be on ESPN Plus, again. In addition to being the official scorer (the guy at the table who wears an official's jersey) he'll also be the time-out coordinator for TV. He gets paid pretty nicely for that.

We're headed out to Boop & Paw's while Daddy is gone. I haven't been to my parents' house in a few weeks so this will be nice for me and the girls. I love going out there - home away from home.
