Better living through chemistry?

Annie was diagnosed with possible reflux. An upper GI study is the only way to *really* diagnose it; however, the APN agreed with me that it sounds like Annie has reflux. So, I'm giving her .5ml Axid twice a day and hopefully in a few days we'll see an improvement. Donna also told me to cut diary (mostly done, but not completely) caffeine (already done) and corn. I've eaten corn chips and not even thought about corn causing a problem. So, no more corn. And no more Quaker Dipps (granola bars dipped in yogurt). I love Dipps. Dang...gonna miss them!

Annie weighed 9lbs 7oz at her visit, which is great! She'd weighed 7lbs 9oz at Elizabeth's 3 y/o well child visit three weeks ago. So, her reflux issues and nursing from only one breast for every feeding (lopsided would be an understatement) aren't causing her to be labled "failure to thrive" - that's a good thing.

Hey, Tracy - I used your doodles in a layout! :) Thank you!!!! Mmmmmm-wah!!! (big smooch)

Now, if you'll s'cuse me, I have a screaming baby to deal with and laundry to fold and clothes to move from the wash to the dryer -- but first have to make sure the stains came out. :P Don't you wish you lived my exciting life????
