A typical morning in my house. Elizabeth Jane mixes the muffins while Annie plays with my phone (usually playing the music I’ve got on it).
Week 11: March 6-12, 2011
I have two photos for this week.
Brad took this photo of Coach Steve Shields, Coach Joe Foley and Dr. Jack VanderSchilden after the UALR men and women’s basketball teams won the Sun Belt Conference Championships. It was a great day for all these guys, including the one snapping the photo!
My bloggy-friend, Amanda, posted a great tutorial for making a fun Valentine’s Day Door Décor. I knew I wouldn’t have a chance to make a heart, but I would be able to get something done for St. Patrick’s Day. Rather than do a shamrock (three leaves) I did a four-leaf clover. It’s not perfect, but the kids loved it and that’s what matters.
Week 12: March 13-19, 2011
I had a wonderful evening out with some dear, long-time friends. Kim (behind me) has been a friend since 6th grade and is a member of my “first team”, Amy (3rd from left) and I have been friends since 1st grade. She lives in Dallas and was in town for the week visiting her mom. Stephanie (far right) and I have been friends since 7th grade – she and her boys were in town for Spring Break visiting her mom.
Week 13: March 20-26, 2011
This was a week we’d rather not have gone through, quite frankly. My father-in-law died this week and basically, the only reason I have this picture is because all the boys were with their mom after having been at the graveside service..
I joked that it looked like Brad and a bunch of bikers – his mom included. {laugh}
