Week 6: January 30 – February 5, 2011
We had a lot of snow in Arkansas during February. I love this shot of Harrison playing in the snow. He had a great time outside, but couldn’t wait to come in to sit by the fire and have a cup of hot cocoa.
Week 7: February 6-12, 2011
This girl loves snow. I can remember one year when she was little and we didn’t get any snow all winter – not even a dusting. She cried. No crying this year!!
Week 8: February 13-19, 2011
My baby boy turned THREE this year! THREE!!! I can’t believe it! We had a dinner at Mom and Dad’s house – burgers, dogs and ‘brats. Along with extended family, we also invited Mr. Rick and Mrs. Teresa – the very loved Sunday School teachers. They came, which totally made Harrison’s day. He told me he wanted a Toy Story party. I googled cakes and got this idea from one I’d googled. I decorated the bottom layer to look like Woody’s shirt and the 3 was decorated to look like the Toy Story 3 logo. We purchased a set of Toy Story toys at Target and the green army guys from the cake decorating store. We all had a great time and Harrison loved his cake! That’s what really matters.
Week 9: February 20-26, 2011
I took this photo at Harrison’s birthday party, just before he blew out the candles on his cake. I love it. But, y’all know that already.
