Top Ten {Tuesday} - My Favorite Gifts to Give

Top Ten {Tuesday}

Okay, so really, Im not so self-absorbed that I'm going to write a blog post listing out all the things I want for my birthday and not talk about the gifts I like to *give*.  And of course, stuff I give as gifts are also things I think are wonderful to receive and usually won't buy for myself.  With no further ado, we have today's Top Ten {Tuesday}.  As usual, no affiliate links.
  1. Yummy smelling kitchen hand soap - be it Bath & Body Works (Gourmet Spice is my favorite, but it is seasonal; Lime-Coconut-Verbena is nice, too), or Williams-Sonoma (Meyer Lemon, anyone?), I love a yummy smelling hand soap for the kitchen.  I've been diagnosed with OCD, do you know how many times a day I wash my hands?! Yeah. Hence the obsession that I have for everyone else to have their own great-smelling hand soap.
  2. Any home fragrance item in Creamy Nutmeg - but especially the Wallflower.  This stuff is totally yummy and will make the public areas of a home smell fabulous.
  3. Hands down, the best hand cream on the planet bar none - Gardeners Hand Therapy Cream from Crabtree and Evelyn. Gardeners is my favorite fragrance to give, though it comes in several more scents.
  4. A great candle - like WoodWick or Yankee or Colonial   All three have or will soon have leather-scented candles, dear blog readers...leather!! But, I usually lean toward the spicy, woodsy scents - or single-note florals (rose, hyacinth or lavender, specifically) - no berry, no citrus
  5. La Source Revitalising Mineral Muscle Soak. I discovered the joys of this stuff when I was pregnant with my first child and love to share this joy with my friends and family.  My OB is a biker (as in the Tour de France or mountain kind [he does both]) and his wife is a runner - I turned them onto this. They love me for it.
  6. Lolita drinkware.  These are fun, be they wine glasses, margarita glasses or coffee glasses. Or aprons...dude, check out these aprons. Cute!!!
  7. Home fragrance spray or candles from Aromatique.  What scent I give depends on the season - Smell of Spring is my favorite and so is my favorite to give. Amaretto Nog is delicious smelling and perfect for Christmas. As are Peppermint, The Smell of Christmas and Smell of the Tree.
  8. Homemade cupcakes.  From scratch.  If I'm making vanilla cupcakes, I use Magnolia Bakery's Vanilla Cupcake recipe from when they were on Martha Stewart's show.  And I'll make a vanilla bean buttercream.  Or, I'll make Caramel Cake cupcakes with Browned-Butter-Caramel-Sea-Salt buttercream (oh...these are divine!!!)
  9. Anything from Bev at Hillcrest Cottage. I have a journal that she decorated. I use it for sermon notes and Care Group prayer requests.  I love it.
  10. Last, but certainly not least, anything I can paper craft.  I love to put stuff in these boxes (this was probably my favorite of all the boxes I did). I love to make mini albums for teachers and friends - I've done friendship albums for a couple of friends, I've done Christmas mini-albums for multiple teachers, I've done paper bag albums, a Valentine album, a CD album...I love to make stuff with paper!
And there you have it.  Some of my favorite gifts to give...ten of them, actually.  For more Top Ten {Tuesday} posts, visit OhAmanda here.
