Journaling - Elizabeth

Elizabeth starts journaling today as part of her grammar curriculum. Since this is all so new to her, I'm only making her do it for 5 minutes a day. She's struggling with "What do I write about" syndrome. So, I'm going to compile a list here of things she can put in her journal.
  • excitement about her trip to her grandparents
  • her packing list, things she really wants to take
  • things she wants to do while she's there
  • once home, what they did while she was there or her favorite thing they did
  •  her Christmas and/or birthday wish lists
  • what she hopes to learn in school this year
  • prayer requests and answers to them
  • birthday party plans (she loves to plan her own parties)
  • Christmas card ideas (she loves to make her own) and other craft ideas

You can also buy (or find online) some journal starters/prompts. We have a few of those in booklet form if you want to take a look at them.
