Nin's "Show 'n Tell" at school yesterday was "mothers". She decided she wanted to take a picture of the two of us and she wanted it to be a "new" picture. So, we took this one Tuesday night. I love it - even if my pride did require that I run it through a filter before I'd post it to my blog because I have on no makeup (we printed the actual, unretouched photo for show 'n tell). I'd offered several things: a new picture, a picture of me and Nin the day she was born, one of our favorite books
Mommy Hugs, or something else if she had any ideas. She wanted to take the "new" picture. So, there we are. Isn't she the cutest thing?
And here's Little Man in the turtle outfit that Bippie got him. Notice he's laying on his right side so we can help his little head even out. The left side of his head is flat because he lays on that side almost constantly. It's not *that* bad and it's not something that's going to require a plagiocephaly helmet. Check out his little chicken legs. Poor little boyfriend has some long skinny legs!! We're trying to fatten him up!

I love the picture. How sweet of her to choose the picture of the both of you over everything else. There is nothing like the love kids have for their mommies :)
Also, Colby had skinny legs like that at first then he fattened up just fine.
