Favorite person (outside family)? Hmmm, if you're reading this then YOU are my favorite. ;) Seriously there are so many people and for so many different reasons I couldn't begin to list them.
Favorite food? Healthy--grapes, various tree nuts. Non-healthy--peanut M&Ms, Snickers
Quirks about you? My clothes and my kids' clothes hang all facing the same direction - front of the outfit/dress/shirt facing the closet door. I'll redo them on the hanger if they're not all facing out. If I have cash, all the bills must be facing forward and be "head up." I sweep my kitchen floor multiple times a day because I can't stand for there to be anything on it.
How would the person who loves you the most describe you in 10 words or less? I asked Brad...this could be scary. I'm leaving out the only three words he said and if you know him at all, you know he's not mushy-gushy and he's never complimentary when it comes to me. I should've asked one of my children.
Any regrets in life? Yep.
Favorite Charity/ Cause? Outside of missionaries from our church; it would be the Paul J. Wendel M.D. Maternal Fetal Medicine Endowment (see page 7 of the magazine linked here; established in honor of my OB)
Favorite Blog recently? CJ Mahaney's View from the Cheap Seats & Other Stuff
Something you can’t get enough of? These days it would be sleep, though it seems as though we might be making progress in that arena - Harrison slept through the night last night for the first time.
Worst job you’ve ever had? None of the jobs I've had have been horrible, at all. Though I did a stint as a fragrance model at Dillard's for a year or so before I got married and I wasn't really all that wild about it.
What job would you pay NOT to have? Anything in a slaughterhouse.
If you could be a fly on the wall, where? Don't you think it would've been cool to be a fly on the wall on the night Jesus was born? The angels, the star, the shepherds...very cool. I do. :)
Favorite Bible verse right now? One of my favorite verses is 2 Corinthians 5:21 - the Gospel in a single verse: He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Guilty Pleasure? Something I haven't done in 8 years (since I left my corporate job) - highlight my hair to hide the gray! The other is Talbot's semi-annual sale...love it. Does the juxtaposition of some of these questions not make you go "hmmmm, weird place to put that question"
If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? See answer directly above - the salon and Talbot's :) And I'd have my Mother's Ring made with Harrison's name on it. For those who haven't seen the one I have with the girls' names on it:
Favorite thing about your house? My kids' rooms. :)
Least favorite thing about your house? The kitchen has next to no storage. We want to rip everything down to the studs and redo it.
One thing you are bad at? Engaging people I don't know in a conversation.
One thing you’re good at? Changing diapers, un/loading the dishwasher with one hand (because I'm usually holding Harrison with the other while he nurses) - really, doing anything with one hand while I hold Harrison with the other.
If you could change something about your circumstances, what? Something I'd really rather not talk about.
Who would you like to meet someday? I have no idea, if we're talking about human beings.
Who is your real life hero? I'm not sure I have a "hero" and I really think that word is over-used these days.
What is the hardest part of your job? Being consistent in the discipline of my children and keeping my house neat (I once saw a quote that is so true: Cleaning a house when you have a toddler is like trying to nail Jell-O to a tree)
When are you most relaxed? When everything is neat and orderly and all the housework is done - including the never-ending ironing - only then can I truly relax
What stresses you out? Loud noises and my house being messy (apparently Jennifer and I are twins separated by a few years -- this was her answer, too)
What can you not live without? Breathing - and some days that's hard to do.
Why do you blog? Because I don't do well at keeping a baby book and I need to record all this stuff somewhere.

Oh, WOW, I got tagged! I think this a first! :) OK, I have a majorly long to-do list tonight (that I am apparently not working on tonight since I am reading your blog!!), but I will try to work on it soon!
