We spent a long weekend at Grammie and PawPaw's house. Of course, Friday meant a trip to the carousel and fountain. I couldn't convince the girls to ride animals so we were on a bench again this time. Here we are, in motion, waving to Daddy as we whirl past. Had a great time, had some good conversations in the van as we drove (Kim would be proud - did homework while I had him trapped and he was a captive audience). Elizabeth and I played "Highway Alphabet" on the way home. My father-in-law is really starting to have trouble walking and talking, which is sad.
And in case you missed the NFL Draft on Saturday, Darren McFadden went 4th to the Oakland Raiders and Felix Jones went 22nd to the Dallas Cowboys.
