Check out these Apple Dumplings -- thanks for that, Tasha! When I put back on the 30 pounds I've lost since Harrison was born, it's all your fault! ;)
I'm interested in looking over her blog more, though. I'm looking for dinner ideas because we are in a huge dinner rut - and while I'd love to have Apple Dumplings for dinner, that won't really cut it for my kids. I need to feed them healthy, "real" food. Yes, I know Brad usually prepares dinner; but, that is about to change if he can manage to stay out of the kitchen while I'm cooking (he usually comes in and takes over or starts critiquing what I'm doing and how I'm doing it). Now that he gets home before 4:00 in the afternoon (except Wednesdays) it'll be even more difficult for him to stay out of the kitchen if I'm in there -- but we're going to give it a try!
Elizabeth would love it if I'd cook everything from her "most favorite cooking show" - 30 Minute Meals with Rachel Ray. I'll definitely be paying attention to what Rachel makes, too. Got to get us out of this rut!!

We need to put Ben and Brad in the kitchen together. Ben does me the same way! I have to say, "Get out of my kitchen, boy"! I'm glad he loves to cook, but when he starts being too opinionated (wonder where he got that trait?), I show him the door!!!
I made those last week! DELICIOUS & so simple :) Went perfectly with some vanilla bean ice cream...YUM!
Glad I could help out! Hee hee. And what's wrong with having dumplings for dinner? :P We made them for Easter dessert last night....yum! So is it just as bad eating them for breakfast?
