Various mumbo-jumbo

Subject 1: If you have an extra foot I can use to boot someone in the behind...can I borrow it? ARRRRRRRRRRRGH.

Subject 2: This is why I hate singing in the choir sometimes: Was approached at Care Group last night by someone I love dearly. "I saw you crying in choir this morning. Do I ask or do I not?" I just laughed and said, "You know how sometimes the words to a song just 'hit you'? It was that, nothing horrible at all. But thanks for asking." She said, "That's why I like sitting close to the front -- so only the choir can see me when I cry." Yeah, well, try sitting in the choir where everyone can see you. Ugh! ;) And double ugh because I am not one of those 'pretty criers' -- when I cry, it's uuuuu-uuuugly!

Subject 3: I can't remember if I posted about this or not. If I did, sorry! I'm being too lazy to look. Okay, I just looked and I haven't posted about this. At my uncle's house, they had some of Grandma's jewelry on the counter and told us "go through it and take anything you want". Well, there was a monogrammed pendant in it. My grandmother's initials were ALE. My youngest daughter? Anne Lancaster E... So, to say I snapped that up for Annie would be an understatement. I'm so excited about it. I also got each of the big girls a pendant. Nothing major - black onyx for Nin and a Buffalo Nickel for Elizabeth (like one my grandmother had given me as a young girl) -- just small things that I want them to have of their great grandmother's.

Annie awakes. I'm off to feed girls lunch and do some housework!

I wasn't there to see you crying in the choir! I know how that is,though...sometimes I am just overwhelmed with God in general...that He loves ME! I can get somewhat emotional at times! It is okay to cry. I feel a void because I have missed so much lateley. I'm ready to be back to worship with everyone.

The gifts for your little ones sound so very special!

Thank you for your comment on my blog. That is so sweet of you to say that! You have really encouraged me today.

We are on the mend! My fever broke yesterday...Gracie and Abigail got better over the weekend...still waiting on the little ones' coughing and runny noses to send.
