Week 49: November 28 – December 4, 2010
Brad usually puts our Christmas tree up on the day after Thanksgiving. However, he had other things going on Black Friday and Saturday. It was Sunday before we had a chance to set up the tree and then we finally started decorating. First onto the tree were Harrison’s favorite ornaments – Woody and Buzz. These are the originals – purchased when the first Toy Story movie came out 15 years ago – and they were Drew’s favorite ornaments on my tree. How fun that they are now my son’s favorites.
Week 50 : December 5 – 11, 2010
Aunt Vickie asked me to bring my camera over and take photos of their family…including the dogs. It was a lot of fun, I learned a lot about my camera and taking pictures. The dogs were GREAT through the entire sitting. I took about 200 pictures, total, that day – including some engagement shots for Michael and Abbigail.
Week 51: December 12-18, 2010
On December 18, all three of the girls sang during the worship service. Elizabeth and Katherine were part of an ensemble who sang the first verse of the song. Annie and the rest of the children joined in for the second verse and chorus. Since they were singing, they wore their Christmas dresses today. And, of course, since his sisters were in their Christmas finery today, Harrison was in his as well.
Week 52: December 19-25, 2010
The last photo for 2010! Hooray! And probably one of the most peaceful. Candles lit in the fireplace, the tree, the gifts ready for the next morning…shortly after this photo was taken, I fell into bed exhausted. You know, the typical “mom routine” on Christmas Eve.
