Week 16: April 11 - 17, 2010:
Planting the flowers in Laura-Grace's part of the caterpillar garden
We had a "Caterpillar Play Date" with our baby-cousin, Laura-Grace on April 14. The children planted flowers in small, round raised beds that Bippie created. Each child had their own bed and each is planted with a different color flowers. Elizabeth's bed is full of pink blooms, Nin's flowers are purple, Annie has red, yellow and orange (the beautiful orange Lantana is my favorite, I think), Harrison's bed has blue flowers in it and Laura-Grace's bed has pink and white. Elizabeth and Katherine each planted their own flowers. I planted Annie's and Harrison's - then everyone helped plant Laura-Grace's. We had such a fun day. After planting our beds, we washed up and had chicken spaghetti for lunch and caterpillar cupcakes for dessert.
