Annie and Harrison love playing with the Duplo blocks together while I do school with the big girls.
Week 12: March 14 - 20, 2010
Elizabeth loves to help around the house. One of her jobs is unloading the dishwasher. She's loved to do this since she was old enough to get the utensil drawers open and toss silverware in! When she was two, her "job" was to put away the silverware. Now, though, she puts away almost everything! Such a big girl and such a big helper!!
Week 13: March 21-27, 2010
Since she was little bitty, Katherine has loved books. Once she hit the age of two, she wanted a "job" like Elizabeth. Since she loved books so much, we asked her if she would be our family librarian. Her job is to keep the bookshelf neat and orderly. A high school friend of mine recently cleaned out her son's childhood books (he is 13) and she brought them all to us. Here's Nin, with ALL the books - ours and our new ones from April & Jackson - she's working on organizing. She did a great job finding a place for all the books. And don't worry, I did help her! I didn't leave this overwhelming task for her alone!!!
Week 14: March 28 - April 3, 2010
The infant son of some friends of ours is a patient at Children's Hospital after a recent heart transplant. His older siblings came to Little Rock after spending several weeks in Mississippi with their grandparents. We were happy to have E and G come to our house during the day for five days while their mother was at the hospital with their baby brother. This is a picture of all six kids on the swing the day that we played at GG and GrandDaddy's house.
