Project 52: Weeks 17 - 20

Here are my photos for weeks 19 and 20 in my "Project 52" - I'm really enjoying this process and it is a lot less stressful to this feeling-overwhelmed-mom than Project 365 is!

Week 17: April 18-24, 2010
Of course, I've already posted this photo...
Elizabeth rides without training wheels!
Elizabeth learned to ride her bike without training wheels! Brad took the training wheels off the bike, she jumped on and started riding. No help needed! Amazing!!!

Week 18: April 25-May 1, 2010
Love this sweet little dirty face!  Harrison, sitting on his bed.
I love this picture of my baby boy. He doesn't look much like a baby, does he?!  He was sitting on his bed just after we made it.  In the background are the un-named Valentine puppy, Pinto the pony, Twacks the blue moose, Catnip the lion and Miles the moose (behind Twacks).  Sweet, sweet boy!

Week 19: May 2 - May 8, 2010
Elizabeth Jane mowing the yard!
Elizabeth has been all about learning to do "chores" around the house. She's recently asked to learn to iron - and asks every day if she can iron something.  On this particular Saturday while Brad was getting ready to mow, she asked if he would show her what to do.  She loves helping us.  She has such a sweet servant's heart.

Week 20: May 9-15, 2010
There are two photos this week because two big events happened.
First:

The Birthday Girl!
Katherine turned SIX on May 11.  I can't believe she is six years old!!!  She had Girl Scouts on her birthday, and didn't want to miss it.  Brad and I gave her birthday present to her as soon as he got home from work.  She has been asking for a digital camera for a year (she wanted one for her 5th birthday).  I happened across this Polaroid 9MP camera on clearance at Target a few weeks ago and I grabbed it.  They had a 7MP camera that was hot pink - but I chose the higher resolution over the color Nin would prefer. :) She didn't care.  She's just thrilled to have a camera.  She's already been through two sets of batteries. Hahahaha!  We had dinner with Mom & Dad at Western Sizzlin in Benton (Nin's choice) on May 12.  Great thing about Wednesdays at Western Sizzlin?  Kids eat free.  Haha!!!

My other photo for week 20:
Elizabeth prepares to leave for TN
On May 14 Elizabeth left for two weeks with Grammie & PawPaw!  TWO. WEEKS!!!!  She was so excited about the trip and I know she is going to have a wonderful time.  She needs some "down time" from being The Big Sister and worrying about everyone else.  Though, as I've talked to her this week she's always asked, "Is HehsinBoy being good? Are the girls helping you?"  So even 450 miles away, she's still being the little mother!!!  She'll be home Memorial Day weekend.
