YES!!!!!

Just got an email from my friend, K. She and her DH, B, have been dealing with IF issues for at least six years. They've spent the past 2.5 years on the waiting list with an adoption agency in their home state. They were at the point where if a birth mom said, "You choose the couple that gets my baby" then K&B would've automatically gotten the baby since they had been waiting longest. Well, about six weeks ago I got an email from K stating they had been chosen by birth parents and were expecting a little boy in October.

Today I got an email that D was born on Friday and he is currently residing in K&B's home as a foster child. K included pictures of D and dadgum if he doesn't look like B!!! Seriously, he does!!! So. Stinkin'. Sweet. I'm so happy for them and am in tears. They have a meeting on Thursday when the birth parents will sign over parental rights and the adoption process will begin. I'm hoping and praying all goes well on Thursday.

Next up, my friend A and her DH, J. They need a little one to come into their home, too.
