Ma'am, is it plugged in? Got to be one of my all-time favorite Help Desk questions. That and "Is the printer online?" Usually one of the two would turn out to be the problem in all my years of I.T. experience (no, I'm not kidding).
So, my camera - the viewfinder has been horribly out of focus for several months and it's been bugging the crap out of me. My photos were fine, but the viewfinder - OMG, everything was blurry in it and I couldn't tell if my photos were in focus or not until I downloaded them to the computer. Thank goodness for auto-focus or I'd be hosed. Well today I noticed this little wheel just to the right of the viewfinder. Gave it a whirl and TADA - viewfinder stuff is now in focus.
Read the manual? Why would I want to do something like that?!
