Smellin' Up the Shoe

I am a candle fiend.  I am also a candle snob.  A total candle snob.

Well, I am over my candle snobbiness.  While I love Yankee Candles and Taylor Candles and Colonial Candles - and always will - for the day-to-day yummy smells in my house, I reach for Glade candles.  Yes. Glade candles.  As in "sold in the home fragrance aisle at WalMart and Target and Kroger" Glade candles (and not the hokey "Glah-day" commercial...ugh, hate that commercial).

So, anyway, last year I discovered the Apple & Cinnamon fragrance right around the holidays and I really liked it - so much so that I asked for scented oil candle refills for my stocking (and got some).  I have continued to buy them through the year.  This year, BzzAgent sent me an Apple & Cinnamon candle from the Glade Winter Collection to try, "bzz" about and a few coupons to pass along (let me know if you want one!).  This candle gets lit every single day.  I like the fragrance, my kids like it...it's a wonderful fragrance. The Sugarplum Fantasies fragrance is on my shopping list, too (I've only seen it at Target) - (a) it's PURPLE, people!  (b) it smells spicy and a little fruity.

If you're looking for nicely-scented candles on a budget, I'm here to tell you, Glade's Winter Collection is a great way to go! I stocked up on several with Target's sale and will be including them with teacher gifts this year at Christmas!

Disclaimer:  I received a free decorative jar candle in Glade's Apple & Cinnamon fragrance from bzzagent.com (linked above).  I was asked to try the candle and share my thoughts with friends and family.  The opinion above is my own and not influenced by receiving the free candle.  I happened to have liked the candle before I got a free one to try.
