He was in a great mood when I was trying to take pictures so no pictures of him with Miles the Moose. He was being too silly. He would *not* sit still.
Here, he is waving to his Leap Frog Learning Table - the girls were pushing buttons and making it play music while I was taking pictures (or...trying to take pictures).
At 11-months he weighs 18 pounds 5 ounces and is 30.5 inches long (up from 15pounds 5ounces and 29.75 inches a month ago). He has eight teeth and he's not afraid to use them (on me...ouch!!!) He can "high five". He waves bye-bye - both when someone is leaving and when he is going to bed. He says "dy-dy" in both situations as well. He also says "da dun" when signing "all done" - when he's finished eating. He still nurses like he'll never wean (and that's fine with me), yet he loves bottles and cups, too. He loves getting his sister's cup when she has tea in it. As much as he loved his changing table when he was a teeny infant (it was his *sole* happy place), he hates it now. He is rarely ever happy when he's on the changing table and usually spends his time rolling away from me while I'm trying to change his diaper, screaming his little head off all the while.
He loves his pillow. Thankfully we have two so I can wash one and have one in the bed - and believe me, I'm rotating these pillows regularly so they'll get "equal" wear. He also loves his GlowWorm (thanks, Kathie!), especially when it plays Pachelbel's Canon in D Major - excellent taste in music, this boy of mine. He's cruising, starting to stand alone after pulling up, and has taken a couple of steps alone - though I think they were both flukes and he didn't realize what he was doing. I will not be surprised if he walks before his birthday.
Gracious, I love this little man! I'm planning his first birthday party with a froggy theme. Looking forward to it - I'm sure it's going to be fun.
