The hard part of motherhood

Poor Nin.  We came home from Mom & Dad's on Sunday evening and she said her head and tummy hurt.  She laid on the sofa to watch HSM2 and then at about 8p.m. she got up and very calmly walked into the kitchen where she proceeded to climb on the step-stool at the sink and puked-up her little toenails.  Poor baby!  She was sick once more in the middle of the night - which prompted a middle-of-the-night bath and mopping session.  She was sick several times during the day on Monday (if she drank too much water at once, her tummy would rebel).  I'm hoping and praying it will be over and done with today.  She managed to keep down a few crackers on Monday, actually most of what she ate.  And she actually managed to keep down most of the water she took in (in the form of crushed ice).  We're going to do an easy, bland diet again today in the hopes of keeping her tummy stable.

I hope she is back to her sweet self really soon! I hate when the kids are sick! I now understand why my mom used to tell me she wished she could be sick for me.

I've been catching up on your blog the last couple of days & I LOVE all of the pictures :) Your collages are beautiful (as are the children in them, LOL)!

Congrats on the homeschooling, best wishes for a great year...
