Home again, home again, jiggedy jog

We just got home from my in-laws. Had a good visit with them, took the girls to the museum where we had a great time -- until the big girls got lost in a maze just as they were about to come OUT of said maze and then I couldn't find them (NOT fun). Obviously the panic was written all over my face as I pushed my way through a school crowd. A woman approached me, "Are you looking for Katherine and Elizabeth?" Yes! "They're in the office, they were about to get on the elevator." Good. Grief. I was ready to end the day right then and there. They were fine, not afraid at all. I was freaking out - and furious (not at them and we'll leave it there).

I love this picture that I took of the big girls at the park. They really are best of friends. I love it. Except when they fight like the "best of friends". ARrrrrrrgh!

Katherine shared her love of music and performing with us at the museum in the music area. How funny is this? The child saw that microphone and it was all over. She sang. And sang. And sang. She's asked for a microphone for Christmas. My mom is getting her one for her stocking. She's going to love it!. Absolutely cracks me up.

Elizabeth, wearing her "turkey hat" made at the Creation Station. Playing the harp. She loved this - a quiet instrument. I said, "Hey, you can make $150/hour playing harp -- not a bad instrument to take up if you like it!" Of course, someone has to BUY her said harp!

And here's my little dare-devil. Yes, she climbed that far by herself. And yes, she actually climbed to the TOP - and got herself down. I've often joked that I give birth to children who are part mountain goat. All three of them have been climbers, though E is more timid now than she was as a toddler.

Oh gosh 'losing' children like that is just heart-stopping horrible. Goodness! Glad you found them safe and sound
