Traveling back in time

Amanda Rockwell's newest kits have been burning a hole in my PC since I got them. The last few pages I've done have been recent history and so I decided I needed to go back to 2004 and start scrapping those photos again. I chose this photo of Amy & Carson, Elizabeth & I in the snow, February 14, 2004. I remember that day so well. I called Amy and said, "Meet us outside in 15 minutes, we'll bring the camera!" We had the best time with the kids out in the snow. Four parents, three cameras...it was hilarious! I was 22 weeks pregnant with Katherine at the time, so in a t-shirt and fleece, I was toasty warm!

This layout was inspired by a layout Maria did of the oh-so-cute Piper. Mine is a little different, but definitely inspired by Maria's.

I used Amanda Rockwell's Floral Splendor kit from SweetShoppe Designs -- love the teals and oranges; not typical colors for me and so I really, really like it. The font I used for the date is Pea Jenny Script (not a big surprise, it's my favorite). I also used OptikVerve Lab's Virtual Photographer filter on the photo and Atomic Cupcake's Tear action on the circles.
