Baby book stuff

Happy 6-Month-Day, Annie-Tunannie!

Annie is sitting well without support - she will fall over after a few minutes, but she's doing really well. She's also bridging up on all fours and rocking. It's just a matter of days before she takes off. I think she's going to be my first baby to not do the Commando Crawl before she's on all fours. Elizabeth and Nin both did the Commando Crawl and were *fast*! As a matter of fact, E was still doing the Commando Crawl when I got pregnant with Nin!

Annie laughed aloud at Katherine last night; that was cute to see and hear.

The 2nd Sunday in June, Nin woke at 12:30 crying. She cried all night long. I'm not lying. No fever. I asked her if her teeth hurt, since she's cutting her 2-year molars. No. "Do your ears hurt?" No. More wailing. Brad was livid. She wanted to lay in my bed, then in her bed, then on the sofa, then she wanted to rock-rock. Wailing the whole time. I finally gave her some Tylenol (no IB...wouldn't you know it?) and some Hyland's Teething Tablets thinking those would help. She and I got 20 minutes of sleep before the crying started again. And this time, it was *both* of us. She cried until around 7:30 Monday morning! We went to the doctor at 9:40 - sure enough, both ears were infected. Put her on Zithromax and she was better within a few hours.

Then Thursday, Elizabeth went downhill fast - took her by Bill's office and yes, ear infection. As soon as we got home, she walked into the bathroom and puked everywhere - typical for E when she has an ear infection. She laid down on the sofa and slept for three hours and was better when she woke - thanks to IB, Dimetapp and Zithromax.

As you can tell, it's been a wild week around here.
