Digi-Scrapping

Several months ago I discovered digital scrapbooking. I've been interested for about a year, but when I originally found Scrapbook-Bytes I was so beyond intimidated it wasn't even funny. I happened to view galleries of women who use PhotoshopCS and who create layouts that are like magazine graphics. I was more interested in creating layouts that mimic paper. Finally, in October of last year, I tried again and hit upon some galleries that had just what I was looking for. My style is still evolving, but then when is it not when it comes to my hobbies?

Now, I hang out at RAKScraps and The Daily Scrap where I'm on the creative/design teams. It's a lot of fun and I'm loving it. Back in February at RAKs, I was lucky enough to win a two-CD set of design kits - and I'm absolutely bowled over by this designer's talent (as I am with many designers). It is the Play On Elements CD called Moments. The designer is Tanya Todd-Krasen. Incredible! I need to "hello" one of my layouts using her "Blossom" kit from the CD. I love it. I'll do that later.

I'll talk about other favorite designers, fonts, etc. later. I'm tired and ready to go to bed - not to mention, I've got to get this makeup off my face.

Prayers being said tonight for Rebecca. I know she's a nervous wreck about tomorrow. I'm hoping all goes well and I hear the "all clear" from her tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday morning.
