Five Question Friday

Reading Amanda’s blog convinced me that I should participate in My Little Life’s carnival – Five Question Friday again this week.  So, with no further ado – we’re off!

1. Do you apologize to your kids?  I blow it on a regular basis and I think it is important – it is vital – for me to seek my children’s forgiveness when I do. Usually when I do, I seek the Lord’s forgiveness while I’m with the child(ren) involved in my blowing it. I think it’s part of gospel parenting. And I pray daily that the impression left with my kids is not how often I blew it, or how badly I messed up – but that I faithfully admitted when I was wrong and I was humble enough to seek their forgiveness.

2. What color are your nails right now?  Neither finger or toenails are painted right now. I just took off a super bright Sally Hansen pink from my toenails.  I have plans this weekend to paint my toenails Moscow Red – it’s an old OPI color that I love.  It’s r-e-d, let there be no doubt!

3.  When you were growing up, how difficult was it for you to stay home from school sick? (As in, did you have to vomit or just say "I don't feel good".)  We had to actually be sick – vomiting or running a fever.  Mom used to set up the sofa as a sick bed. As we got older, staying home sick meant we were really sick and we stayed in bed.

4.  When is the last time you bought a new comforter for your bed?  13 years ago.  It’s a blue and white Tommy Hilfiger that’s been retired for about 11 years. Haha!! It’s a great mix of floral, a couple of plaids and toile. I love the blue and white, but I’m ready for something different. I really want a quilt and a coverlet – just can’t find anything that I love.

5.  Favorite Website(s)? Papertrey Ink, Paper Crafts Connections, Moxie Fab World, and I love my Google Reader
