More good news. A sweet couple in our church, who've been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years and were recently told it probably wasn't going to happen, announced last week in choir that they're pregnant (they told the church today so I can blog about it). When Brad came home from Care Group nursery last week and told me, I burst into tears. I'm so thrilled for them and they will be such precious parents. I called and left a message on their answering machine and probably sounded like a blubbering moron - but she told me today that it made her cry so I guess I didn't sound too stupid. ;)
I've had a really, really bad couple of weeks and something happened today that confirmed my decision to step out of choir is the right one. I'll definitely miss not being in rehearsals. I'll miss not getting to sit beside Michelle and hearing about how pregnant she feels (have I mentioned how thrilled I am for her?). I'll miss not being with Jo and Monica -- though Jo won't be back for a long while after what she's just gone through. But it's the right thing.
Don't forget we "spring forward" Saturday night at bedtime. Great. I'm about to lose an hour. So uncool. So. Un. Cool. I'll spend all week dreading it.

oh geez! you just had to remind me about dst! i don't get enough sleep as it is... now i get to lose an hour? lovely!
glad that other things are going well for your friends, though! congrats to your friends on getting pregnant!
I'm so thrilled for them,too! Their testimony of waiting on the Lord was beautiful! I rejoice with them!
I'll miss seeing you in the choir! You must have good reasons!
