Today we did Elizabeth's two-year-old portraits. I wanted to get photos of E playing with sidewalk chalk because it is one of her favorite activities and has been for almost a year. Since our driveway gets full sun almost all day, I knew it wouldn't be the ideal spot. Bill and Diane were kind enough to let us borrow their driveway and it was perfect! We drew a big sun, a heart, a flower, a hopscotch 'board' and wrote E's name. Got some great photos of her sitting in the middle of the sun and of her "playing" hopscotch. Then, Connie climbed up on her Jimmy and took photos looking down on E. My favorite one was the last shot she took -- E was laying on the driveway, had her head laying on Purple Blankie, was snuggling with BehBear. Connie called her name and Elizabeth looked up at her -- no smile, just a sweet look -- Connie snapped the photo at just the perfect time (we love Connie - she's a great photographer and wonderful with my kids). I can't wait to get the proofs.
And dang, but I meant to take *my* digital camera to take photos of the photo shoot for E's scrapbook (I'm a sick, sick woman).
We are the dinosaurs, marching, marching
We are the dinosaurs, what do you think of that?
We are the dinosaurs, marching, marching
We are the dinosaurs, we make the earth flat.
We make the earth flat.
And then we R--O--A--R.
(Laurie Berkner...sorry I can't stop myself!)
