My 7 weird or random facts.  Hmmm, let's talk closets...

1. The clothes in my closet and the kids' closets must all be on the hangers facing the same direction
2. The clothes must be facing "out" when I look in the closet (so that I'm looking at the front of the article of clothing)
3. My clothes and the kids clothes are hung in the order of the rainbow with white/cream first and black/brown last - between that are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.  I put the pinks between the white/cream and red (since pink is a shade of red). Harrison's closet is pretty much red, orange, blue, blue, more blue, blue, blue and even more blue.  Oh he has a wee bit of green and some gray.  Did I mention the blue?  ;) 
4. My clothes and the kids clothes are also hung with the various like-articles together (outfits together, tops together, skirts together, etc)
5. The bottom of my closet is a total WRECK
6. My kids closets are so full I literally cannot get another thing squeezed into them - well, all except Nin's. I'm kinda slim on size 5 stuff compared to everything else.  It's insane.
7. Annie and Harrison share a closet.

Cute little ribbon people

Annie wants to have an Ariel birthday party.  I've been on the hunt for what to use on her invitations - but I didn't really want to do Disney stickers unless I *had* to do so.  Well, enter Rachel Young.  Check these out - I mean, really - how CUTE are these?!  Now all I'll need to do is print Ariel and take it to Scrapbook Corner to match Bazzil Cardstock with the colors in her and we'll be ready to go!  Seriously, how cute are these things?!  (can you tell I think they're adorable?)

So...How's the Yogurt, Buddy?

He ate six-ounces of yogurt mixed with cereal and then ate MORE cereal afterwards - AND he nursed like he was going to the chair.

Laugh for the Day

Katherine, looking at a Hello Kitty shirt of Elizabeth's that is hanging in my bedroom, "I want to wear that shirt tomorrow. It's my favorite shirt in the history of shirts." 

Me, stifling laughter, "It is? Really?  In the history of shirts?"

Nin, "Yes, in the whooooooole history of shirts.  It's very Hello Kittyish. I love it."

Me, bursting into laughter, "It's Hello Kittyish? Ya think?"

Nin, "Yes, it's verrrrry Hello Kittyish.  I want to wear it tomorrow."

Me, "Ask your sister." 

It's been a week? Really?

Has it really been a week since I last blogged here? Wow. I'm such a slacker. Had a ton going on around here!

Last week I had a Canon House Party, which was pretty fun. I guess I got the email since I have a Canon digital camera. I decided to fill out the application and mine was one of the 500 chosen. Canon sent me a Selphy CP770 printer and a 36-print refill kit, some scrapbook kits, and some Baby's First Year photo albums. My "job" was to invite people over and use the printer. We did and it was pretty nifty. Anita's photos of her kids were incredible. My sister was unable to come over so I took the printer to her house this past Wednesday and printed some photos my nephew needed for his project at school. It's a neat little printer; it is tiny, very portable and you can purchase a battery pack to make it even more portable. My only complaint is that the prints are almost $1 a piece! Granted, you don't have to go to WalMart/Target/Sam's Club/Walgreens -- but you're likely at those stores anyway. So you can't say the gas plus prints cost more than $1 each. They're good prints, though. Not grainy at all. They look as if they have been printed at a photo lab. (I'm not being paid for this post, by the way - though I did get to keep the printer -- at $1/print I'm not sure how often I'll be buying refills for the printer, though)

Thursday we had Grandparents' Day at Egghead Academy. My parents came over to watch while we did school with EJ. She loved having them here and watching her do school work. I think my parents were pleasantly surprised. It seemed to go really well.

Today was Race for the Cure - almost 46,000 women in downtown Little Rock. I had BabyGuy in the backpack. He flirted like crazy. Then he nursed and napped. Then he went back into the backpack again. He did really well. I think next year I may let EJ and Nin go with us and leave the two littlest ones at home. We'll see! It was a great day celebrating my aunt, who is now a one-year survivor. Yay Bippie!
